Through the 'SMS interface', the business user can send individual or multiple messages to its clients or staff. The user can maintain an address book, create groups & message templates and also schedule the messages to be sent.

How it Works:

  • TechShastra creates an account for each new user and provides him with a login & password.
  • A user can then log on to TechShastra's SMS gateway server through the web interface by using the login and password.
  • Once logged on, the user can start sending messages and use the value added services such as address book, message templates etc.
  • The user can type his message and select people to whom he wants to send his message from the address book.
  • When the user clicks on 'Send' the message goes through the SMS Gateway Server to the Mobile Operator's SMSC.
  • Further the message gets routed and delivered to the mobile phone number through the operator's SMSC

Case Study:

When a stock broker needs to send tips to the clients he logs in to TechShastra's ZipSMS website through the user id and password. Once logged on, he can start sending messages to the clients instantly after inserting the mobile number and message.

He can save the mobile numbers of the clients in the address book along with other details. The broker can also create groups and assign individuals to the groups. He can then type his message and select people to whom he wants to send his message from the address book. When he sends the message, it goes from TechShastra's SMS Gateway Server to the Mobile Operator’s SMSC and further gets routed and delivered to the mobile phone(s)
