Mobile marketing campaigns have emerged as a preferred choice by marketers for brand promotions today. Short messaging service (SMS)-based interactive media campaigns like contests and opinion polls have exhibited a higher rate of success in comparison to traditional media. In such a scenario, innovations such as Short Codes provide a better reach and return on investment (ROI) for these mobile marketing campaigns. Short Codes are short phone numbers for mobile phone users to request or respond to information via SMS. Instead of a 10-digit number, Short Codes are five or six digits in length and are easy to remember. The digits often correspond to a brand name or phrase.
At TechShastra, we co-ordinate with all the mobile operators for implementation of the short code, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed by them. TechShastra also develops the SMS ‘PUSH & PULL’ application and content management application along with the database design & maintenance.Short Code can be applied to various business applications in different vertical domains like television & entertainment industry, advertising & media, logistic industry, travel industry, securities, FMCG, healthcare, insurance etc.

- The SMS Application server processes the request by retrieving the result from the DB Server.
